iGo is a Platform — Not a Seller
All listings, advertisements, content, and information posted on iGo are created and published solely by individual users ("Sellers" or "Advertisers"). iGo Sri Lanka provides a neutral technology platform only. We do NOT create, verify, endorse, or assume responsibility for any user-submitted listing. The full legal, financial, and moral responsibility for every posted advertisement rests entirely with the person who posted it. iGo is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

1Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the iGo Sri Lanka website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease use of the Platform.
2Platform Nature & Limitations
iGo Sri Lanka (operated by iGo.lk, Sri Lanka) is an online classified advertising platform. We provide the technology infrastructure for users to post and browse listings. We are not a dealer, retailer, agent, or intermediary for any goods or services advertised on the platform.
- iGo does not inspect, verify, or authenticate any listing or product.
- iGo does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or legality of any advertised item.
- iGo is not involved in negotiations, payments, or delivery of any goods.
- iGo does not mediate or arbitrate between buyer and seller disputes.
3 User Responsibility for Content — CRITICAL
THE PERSON WHO POSTS AN ADVERTISEMENT IS SOLELY AND ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE FOR IT.
By posting any listing, advertisement, image, description, price, or any other content on iGo, you ("the Seller" or "the User") confirm and agree that:
- →You are the lawful owner or authorised agent of the item or service being advertised.
- →All information, images, and descriptions in your listing are truthful, accurate, and not misleading.
- →Your listing complies with all applicable Sri Lankan laws, regulations, and iGo Community Guidelines.
- →You will bear full civil, criminal, and financial liability for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal content you post.
- →iGo Sri Lanka cannot and does not verify your claims, and makes no representation regarding the accuracy of your listing.
- →Any dispute, loss, damage, or legal action arising from your listing is between you and the buyer — iGo is not a party and bears no responsibility whatsoever.
- →You indemnify and hold iGo, its directors, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claim arising from your posted content.
4Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or post listings on iGo. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the laws of Sri Lanka.
5Accounts & Registration
- • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- • You must provide accurate registration information. Fake accounts are strictly prohibited.
- • One person may operate only one account. Multiple accounts for the same person are prohibited.
- • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
6Listings & Prohibited Items
The following are strictly prohibited on iGo Sri Lanka. Posting prohibited content may result in immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities:
7Transactions & Disputes
iGo does not facilitate, process, or guarantee any payment or transaction. All payments are made directly between buyer and seller at their own risk.
iGo is not responsible for any dispute, loss, fraud, or damage arising from a transaction. Buyers are strongly advised to meet in safe public locations, inspect items before payment, and never transfer money in advance to unknown sellers. iGo recommends reporting suspicious activity via our Report Abuse page.
8Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, iGo Sri Lanka, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- • Any loss or damage arising from reliance on user-posted listings
- • Any financial loss from transactions conducted via listings found on the Platform
- • Any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
- • Service interruptions, data loss, or technical errors
- • Actions or omissions of any third party or user
In no event shall iGo's total liability to any user exceed LKR 5,000 (Sri Lankan Rupees Five Thousand) for any claim.
9Intellectual Property
The iGo brand, logo, platform design, and software are the exclusive intellectual property of iGo (Pvt) Ltd. Users retain ownership of their own content but grant iGo a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote their content on the Platform. You represent that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.
10Termination
iGo reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any user account, remove any listing, or restrict platform access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice — including but not limited to breaches of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or harm to the community.
11Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
12Changes to These Terms
iGo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
